Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors Elects New Board Chair, Vice Chair and Three Members to Its Board of Directors

NEW YORK (PRWEB) February 02, 2018 -- Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), one of the world’s leading nonprofit philanthropic consulting services, has elected three new members to its Board of Directors: Michael Quattrone, Ryan Rockefeller and Robin Strawbridge. In addition, RPA named Wendy O’Neill, Chair of the Asian Cultural Council, as its new Board Chair. Peter Rockefeller, Managing Director at Brock Capital, was elected Vice Chair. All five are members of the Rockefeller family.

  • Michael Quattrone serves as Board Chair of the David Rockefeller Fund. He is a Director of Heartfire, a nonprofit retreat organization that creates rituals to foster connection with earth, art, and heart, and is on the Pocantico Committee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Michael is also a singer and songwriter whose first record will be released in 2018.
  • Ryan Rockefeller has spent the last decade as a serial entrepreneur, investor, inventor, and artist. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of Liyo, a social music streaming platform that lets users stream music and video live with friends and celebrities. He also serves part-time as a venture partner at Builders, a venture fund focused on investing in disruptive industrial tech. Prior to his work with startups, Ryan pursued music professionally with a band and as a solo artist.
  • Robin Strawbridge has had a career in nonprofit arts management and philanthropy. A San Francisco native, she worked in fine arts at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice, the John Berggruen Gallery in San Francisco, and the American Paintings Department at Christie’s, New York. She also worked in marketing for J. Crew and the Gap. Robin has served on the boards of Southern Exposure Gallery in San Francisco and the Marin Horizon School in Mill Valley, CA. She is currently Vice Chair of the board at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, CA., and a member of the Board of Directors for No Bully, a nonprofit working to eradicate bullying and cyberbullying worldwide. She is currently the Vice President of the Fleishhacker Foundation in San Francisco.
